I know, the people here will be so pleased- they haven't had a drop since December.
It doesn't deter us however and we make our plans for the day.
There does seem to be a bit of an improvement in the weather coming up.

After our SKYPE session with the home front we are off to "Mangonui"
There is an Art and Craft market in the local church there.
We bought a sign with KIA ORA for home. A lovely reminder of this friendly and most beautiful place.

After also purchasing some shells we popped into a second hand market- not much of interest but fun to see.
Smoked fish, bacon and eggs for lunch - YUM. Good on Ben for having bought the fish yesterday.
After lunch we are off on a 'road trip'. We call into Karikari Penisula ( Matai Bay ).
How beautiful it all is. We are so impressed and don't know where to look first. Left- right, straight ahead. It is all inspiring and breathtaking.
We follow our journey to Rangiputa. To the white sand beaches. Again - we are over awed by all we see. So much to take in. We are constantly taking photos to preserve these images for later.
Despite the clouds and lower temperatures we had a lovely day.

The meal was hungrily received and tasted just great.
The past couple of days with lower temperatures I seem to have picked up a cold- Ben gave me a Baileys before sending me off to bed. Not my favourite drink but I am sure it will do the job.
Hopefully SUNday will live up to it's name.
Thanks Ben with you on tour was great
