Rotorua on a wet day

Looking outside this morning I saw ...RAIN!!

A pity but never mind- the show must go on.
We prepared for breakfast

It was a somewhat less filled buffet this time but nine the less filling..
Yoghurt with peaces, croissant with raspberry jam, jus 'd orange en tea.

At 08.45 we left for Te Puie, or more accurately - The Geysers.

Due to the continual rain we purchased ponchos.
A guide explains and leads us through this magic place.

We listened and looked - learning more about the maori culture, it's people and places.

Once again we were impressed and in awe..
So many impressions to store and digest for later.

The odour was noticeably absent - mainly due to the cooler temperatures and the rain,.

( Sulphur- the smell of rotton eggs on a warm day)

Rond 12 noon we returned to the hotel to check out.
Tonight we elected to have a farm stay.

Despite the rain we use our free time to walk down town Rotorua where we ate at DEDAS Food & Beverage. 

Mum is into the fish and chips and I order a lambsburger.
So very tasty.

A bit further on we drop into a cafe and enjoy a warm cup of tea- to warm up.
Beetje opwarmen..

Our experience on the Farm Stay will have to wait till later.
