Left Auckland this morning for Rotorua.
At 9.00 am we had a toilet and refreshment stop at the AUTOBAHN CAFE in the Bombays.
Tea and cake.
Twenty minutes later we were back on the road.

A lot has changed in 40 years.
We also drove past the Rose Town Motel where we will spend a couple of nights on our way back to Auckland.
There we enjoyed a chicken en tomato sandwich and had a drink.
To top it off an eclair covered with chocolate and filled with cream!
( eclair: for the dutch among us - a cigar shaped Bosche Bol. The same yet different)

After a quick change we head off to the Tamaki Maori Village .
The bus ride alone was impressive.
We had a local Maori driver who taught us some Maori words.
It was a very impressive and educational evening in which we enjoyed not only the food but definitely also the entertainment.
