A successful surprise

For weeks I have been vigilant not to disclose my where-abouts to Mieke and Veronique.

My planned trip to my children meant I was able to surprise Mieke for her birthday.

Well the surprise went like a treat.

I was joined by Ben ( Mieke's brother) his wife Daphne and my second cousin Christa ( Mieke is her aunt). Upon entering the hotel lobby there, not surprisingly,  were a few happy tears.

It was a great little group that walked towards a possible spot for breakfast.

While writing this post I am at Changi Airport on my way home after 5 weeks Australia and New Zealand. What a wonderful way to end my trip.

Veronique and Mieke will join their tour group tomorrow. Wonderful. They will most surely have a great time.

The world is smaller these days- watch out, you never know who you may meet as you turn a corner!
