Recently we paid a visit to friends who offered to share their experiences and photos with us of their trip to New Zealand. While there we are treated to a delicious piece of Kiwifruit cheesecake to accompany our coffee.

For some new purchases mum and I went on a shopping spree to a place called Made. Needing a cuppa, we stopped in at a lovely place called Koffiepunt Lunchroom Made and both enjoyed a lovely piece of Appeltaart with coffee for mum - and fresh mint tea for me.
While enjoying our break we started a conversation with the owner. She mentioned having spent a year in New Zealand and returned to Nederland, pregnant with her son, with whom she now runs the lunchroom. She was very interested in our adventure and we promised a return visit with photos and a run down of our experiences.
What I had better not forget are the presents for mum's birthday. She turns 65 just a day or so after our arrival. Can't let that pass without paying it the appropriate attention, now can I?
As an added bonus, mum had personalised cards printed for us to take while we are on our travels. You never know who we may meet along the way and wish to stay in contact with.
Looks like we are all set to go.....
tick tock tick tock.
